OHSAA bylaw requires ALL coaches to meet all criteria established by the State Board of Education. Criteria for obtaining a Pupil Activity/Coaching Permit (PAP) has included completion of the National Federation of State High School Association’s Fundamentals of Coaching course, CPR and First Aide. Once completed, application must be processed through your board of education. Penalties will be imposed for Failure to Acquire the Pupil Activity/Coaching Permit prior to coaching any OHSAA athletic program.
