* * ATTENTION * *

Physical Examinations for athletes participating in Fall sports are scheduled for the following dates:
  • Monday, July 26 @ Glenville - 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon
  • Tuesday, July 27 @ Lincoln-West - 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon and 2:00p.m. - 5:00p.m.
  • Wednesday, July 28 @ John Hay - 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon
  • Monday,  August 2 from 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon, and Wednesday, August 4 - 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. @ East Technical High School
  • (Tuesday is cancelled)

GIRLS TENNIS: 
  Practice begins Monday, August 9th, 
  7:30am - 11:30am @ Rockefeller Park
 
(Rockefeller Park E. 105 and MLK blvd University Circle)  
   Bring a hat, sun block, sneakers, and water

PHYSICALS MUST BE IN THE COACHES HAND BEFORE  PARTICIPATION MAY OCCUR..  (see below for more information)

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
  Conditioning begins Wednesday, August 4th. 
  7:30am - Noon @ John Hay Gym.
  Shorts and a t-shirt with sneakers, knee pads and water.

GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY:
  Conditioning begins Monday, August 2nd. 
  9:00am - Noon @ John Hay
  Meet at the Ampitheater on the oval. 
  Shorts and a t-shirt with sneakers, and water.

BOYS CROSS COUNTRY: TBD

GOLF:  TBD

PHYSICALS !!!
  • Student athletes that want to participate in athletics, intramural activities, and/or weight lifting, must have a current physical on file with Ms. Mortensen in the athletic office before practice may begin. 
  • Ask about the next physical date provided by CMSD or go to your doctor, the free clinic, or a local Urgent Care (see A.D. for more information).
  • You May get a physical form outside room 341, in your school office or from the link located below.

** Please make sure your forms are current and that they have NOT expired (they are good for one calendar year).  Get a new form by clicking on the link below.  Complete the form by a lisenced physician (signed and dated) and hand them to your coach or athletic director before you may begin any activity. 

FORMS

To have a healthy pre-season do the following:

  • Stay Hydrated:  Drink enough water
  • Have a healthy breakfast before practice
  • Dress appropriately:  Workout clothes:  shorts, t-shirt, sneakers  (no Jeans) Bring to change into if necessary.
  • Get enough rest
  • Official John Hay Spiritwear
